Northern Ireland gets a Good Boost!

Versus Arthritis is delighted to expand its work with Good Boost to Northern Ireland from this month!

Good Boost is a multi-award winning social enterprise headed by Versus Arthritis MSK Champion Ben Wilkins, delivering personalised exercise programmes, with a focus on people living with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.

Programmes are designed for aqua rehabilitation, aqua fitness, aqua-natal and land exercise, enabling any leisure venue and swimming pool to support diverse populations to be more active.

They have been awarded UK Research and Innovation funding as seed funding to roll out the Good Boost Scheme in the Better Gyms/GLL across Belfast, and Versus Arthritis in Northern Ireland is working together with this to raise the profile with healthcare professionals and also help establish follow on peer supports for those who engage in the scheme.

Good Boost are keen to promote and engage participants through an informal sign-posting approach, particularly from healthcare professionals.  Please see NHS Case Study for more in depth information or get in touch with us at ProfessionalEngagement@VersusArthritis.org if you have any questions.
