Involvement network diversity and inclusion group member
We are a group of people with experience of arthritis, who want the purpose of the group to support Versus Arthritis to progress its Diversity and Inclusion goals, celebrating progress and identifying and addressing challenges to progress.
About you
You do not need previous experience of Diversity and Inclusion to join our group. We welcome and encourage diversity of knowledge, thought, experience and expertise, celebrating what makes us unique. You are a member of Versus Arthritis’ Involvement Network and a role model for Diversity and Inclusion. You are passionate about diversifying the Involvement Network and helping Versus Arthritis to become more diverse and more inclusive.
What you can expect as a member
We truly care about people with arthritis, they are at the heart of everything that we do. We work hard to understand everyone's experiences, challenges and needs to ensure the best support, advice, information and action to help people live well with arthritis.
- We will ensure you are able to engage fully in the group and will make appropriate adjustments for you. We will ensure all communications are in the format you require – just let us know.
- You will be invited to bi monthly online meetings – no requirement to travel.
- You will receive regular updates on the impact of the group.
- You will engage in discussions on how to progress Diversity and Inclusion at versus Arthritis.
Meeting timetable
- Tuesday 5th September 6-7pm
- Tuesday 7th November 6-7pm.
We welcome and encourage people from all backgrounds and experience. Everyone is welcome in Versus Arthritis' Involvement Network.
