Clinical and Care Expert Committee

At Versus Arthritis, we recognise the central role that health and care professionals have, not only in meeting the needs of people with arthritis but in providing valuable insight and expertise to our organisation.

We are now looking to formalise the mechanism by which we do this through the formation of a Clinical and Care Expert Committee. This will be an advisory group to improve our professional voice by providing expertise and by advocating for the work of Versus Arthritis. This will be an exciting opportunity for you to inform the work of the UK’s largest MSK Charity and share knowledge, experience and expertise across a senior multidisciplinary forum.

The group will sit alongside our current Research and Fellowship Expert Committees. It will meet on a quarterly basis, one face to face and three virtual supported by a Versus Arthritis led Secretariat which will identify discussion topics and capture issues escalated by the group. In addition, Committee Members may receive intermittent requests for guidance and support.

The CCEC will be a multi-disciplinary group of 12 -15 members, including people with lived experience and senior practitioners with a high level regional, national or professional remit which covers the whole life course.
