Men’s Health Strategy Callout

Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions affect 8.7 million men in the UK, that’s 28% of the male population. The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) are creating a Men’s Health Strategy aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of the male population. The DHSC are seeking views to help shape this strategy, Versus Arthritis will submit evidence to the consultation to ensure that arthritis and MSK conditions are prioritised in the strategy. We would like our response to be informed by men with lived experience of any condition affecting your muscles, bones or joints such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic pain, lower back pain or any other arthritis or MSK conditions.

We would like to hear your story and what it means to you to live with arthritis or another MSK condition. We would like to hear about your experiences from obtaining your diagnosis, navigating treatment, your approach to managing your condition, and any experiences of community groups or support groups.

If you are available to speak to us and share your views with the Versus Arthritis team, please click the button below to register your interest by completing a short form. Selected participants will be contacted no later than Friday 30th June 2025 to arrange a call.

As the Men's Health Strategy will only be applicable in England, we are particularly keen to speak to men with arthritis or MSK conditions who live in England. However, if you are willing to talk to us, we would be grateful to speak to men from across the UK.

Closing Date: Monday 23rd June 2025 at 5pm.
