At Versus Arthritis we have been appalled by the racist rioting and violent attacks taking place across the UK, which are affecting people and communities we represent and work with.

As a charity, we are united in our condemnation of the shocking racism, discrimination, violence and intimidation that has targeted communities and families.

We recognise that many people with arthritis, and the NHS staff that support them, may be in fear for their families, their friends and themselves. Versus Arthritis stands with them to help and offer support as our country navigates this crisis. We understand that there may be disruption to medical appointments or accessing treatment, and our helpline is ready to assist anyone who is worried about their care.

Never before has there been a greater need for compassion and empathy, and as a charity we are always here for those who need us.
